Pi Day!

You might be thinking that I am just making stories when you read this, but a big NO!

I am telling the truth, the ultimate truth!!!

Today morning, while I was heading to office, as usual a stream of thoughts started flowing,

Some random thoughts also popped in which would come from nowhere to my surprise,

Which would be totally unrelated to what my thought process was!

Today, I got a thought about the movie ‘Life of Pi’ and some strange thoughts like:

the value of mathematical Pi,

How do we write Life of Pi replacing this ‘Pi’ with the mathematical Pi ‘π’??

Is it Life(π) ??

And so on and on..

Reaching office, I had left back those thoughts as I do always, as I know that those thoughts are my temporary friends, which I need not carry forward..

I switched on my desktop, and mumbled upon Google Doodle which I am always curious about, since I love the way they present the Doodles and the amazing creativity in it.

For a moment, I went blank, I saw today’s Google Doodle which is :

And, when I clicked on it, I saw this:

Is this called Sixth Sense???

Do I have the ability to have vision of future events??

I don’t have an answer to these questions!

But, I got super excited and happy!! Yay!!

The 11:11 Mystery!!

At times, some visual or circumstance would prompt you to interpret a matter which you thought to be usual to be unusual.. And it may initiate a fleet of thoughts popping up within..which will in turn, exert a soothing pressure to unlock the mystery!

You may feel that am starting to pen down a fiction! Or a short story! Absolutely not!

This is what I have within me right now! Yes, the thoughts are afresh!!

Yesterday, I happened to watch a Malayalam movie, 32aam Adhyaayam, 23aam Vaakyam! There is nothing else in the film which is catchy other than the thought process which it shoots regarding the mystery associated with numbers! Inspired from write ups, the script has been developed pointing out the repetitive haunting of Number 23 of the lead actor.. and the story progresses!!

At a point of time, when the narrative mentioned about numbers and their connectivity, and the happenings followed, something struck my mind in a flash of second!!

Yes!! Am talking about the number/time “11:11” !!!

For past 4-5 years, there have been many instances where I have got this feeling that this number has something to connect to me!! What made me feel so was whenever I felt like seeing the watch or mobile phone to see the time, I could repetitively see the numbers 11:11!! Am not joking!! As I have already mentioned, I have not taken it so seriously that I went behind or tried to dig it more! But, apparently, this number caught my eyes quite a lot of times, as a surprise!! The spark of mystery was inside me for such a long period!!

After watching this movie, it struck my mind with a bang that I could not resist myself from doing a petty research on it! Afterall, I wanted to know whether something exists at all about this number pattern! Or is it just happening with me alone??

When I typed 11:11 in Google, hundreds and hundreds of links appeared!!

I would like to replicate some of the words which grabbed my attention!

Ultimately, I have a contentment that something which has been a big interrogation in my inner mind is something which is happening with millions of people in this world!!! Am not all alone!! And, more or less, it speaks about positivity!!!

So, am feeling virtuous and high! I will keep smiling whenever I see the magic number again!!

The 11:11…..!!!

Burn my body.....!

I happened to watch this Malayalam Short film today "BURN MY BODY"...
As the disclaimer says, only those who have atleast some mental strength can watch this..
Otherwise your mind would just tear into pieces.. And you may tend to have an immense fear within...

We see plenty of cases where women and girl children have been brutally harassed sexually and the count goes on increasing...
We had a feeling that such men who do this, 
get pleasure when they do this to a woman and when they hear her cry aloud...
Even I had this thought..

But after watching this short film, after going through some reports, with utmost shock, I could know that there are persons who fetch pleasure when they sexually harass a female corpse!!!
You heard me right!!They rape dead bodies of women.......

Heartbreaking, isn't it???
The women dead bodies which are kept at mortuary being sexually used by the mortuary-in-charge!!
He drinks, smokes and do this to the corpses lying in the mortuary..

In this short film, a lady nurse who witnesses this brutality pens down a note to her parents,
"If I happen to die, by any reason, please don't let my body lie in the mortuary.. Don't let anyone take custody of it.. BURN MY BODY immediately.....!!!"

Any woman who comes to know that such people(rather animals) do exist as one among the society, she would even fear to die... Realising that her body is not safe even after death!!!!

With immense grief and fear, I request,
"Women are also humans.... They should have the right to live without fear.... Atleast they should be given the right to die!!!!"

Days pass so quick!!!

Oh my god!!!

This is just mind-boggling..

Are days quicker than an Express Train????

Are hours sooner than a Supersonic Jet???

Am mystified!!!

I could memorize what all happened last Friday as if it happened yesterday!!!

But, another Friday is getting over by now..

Am puzzled!!!

Do the 24 hours go shrivel???

Or, the mindsets go petite???

Yet again,

Am perplexed!!!

Satyameva Jayate..

It was out of my cousin’s compulsion, I have decided to turn on the tv and watch Satyameva Jayate, an initiative from the brilliant actor Aamir Khan. I have seen the promos many a times before, but have never taken efforts, rather spent time to watch the programme. 

The topic of narrative for the day was the Indian medical/health scenario and the nowadays predicaments resulting from the money-oriented attitude of hitherto-called human gods-Doctors!!!

The stories unfolded by the veteran actor were just dreadful. The words from the ones who had lost their beloved ones for the mere sake of negligence and profit-motive intents of doctors were heart flouting..

Who is the ultimate loser when a doctor washes his hands and gives a say, “we have tried our level best, but, sorry!!!!”

Who is the real victim when the hospital-in-charge hesitantly utters, “We can’t proceed with the operation unless the bills are cleared!!!”

Who is the absolute prey when the hospital doors are closed with a key note, “No admission for the ones who do not have a sound financial position!!!!”

 

Yes, this is the true picture of Indian Medical Service sector!!!!

The fact is,

The ones who ought to be the care takers have transformed themselves into currency makers!!!!

The ones who ought to render services for the human have tainted themselves into real blood haunts!!!!

The Survey reports and statistics depicted in the programme were shocking!!!

Hundreds of women of a rural, backward area had to undergo surgery to remove their uterus’ simply for the reason that they were made petrified saying that unless they undergo the surgery, they hardly can survive their lives!!!!!

What else can induce them into such a wild trap?????

The instances are never ending..

Every second, one has to succumb to death merely because of the reckless attitude shown by the so called human gods-Doctors!!!!

The portrait of other nations are far better and pleasing..

We acclaim ourselves to be the fastest developing nation!!!

We make proclamations that we strive to be a Super Power by 2020!!!

We entail in day long discussions and sign treaties with our neighbour countries!!!

But..

What is the use of being a Super Power unless we have populace with sound health???

What is the meaning of declaring ourselves as an unbeatable democratic state unless we have natives with a sense of security on their lives???

This is a request to my friends who are taking up lessons on medicine..

Those who are in the verge of becoming a doctor/medical practitioner..

Please do keep in mind that the profession you work towards , is a divine one!!!

Which should be practiced with utmost dedication, commitment and service-motive mind sets!!!

The ethics you ought to clutch should never be indulged for the sake of fulfilling private goals!!!

HOPE WE HAVE A TOMORROW WHERE THE WHITE ANGELS LIVE UPTO OUR DREAMS..

PEACE IN THEIR MINDS..

CARE IN THEIR EYES..

AND, DIVINITY IN THEIR SOULS!!!

The yet another paradigm of the changing facade of Malayam Film Indusrty..

A movie.. I would say.. Very open and candid..

So realistic and conceivable..

Hats off to Ashik Abu.. For making out the movie in the best possible manner..

He has once again proven that his films are worth watching..

Appreciations for developing such a thought provoking movie!!!

The performance of Fahad, Reema, Prathap, T.G Ravi, Vincent etc are remarkable..

The movie could lucratively communicate its message!!!

The nowadays harassment faced by women can never be elucidated in a better way!!!

The lament of a girl who moves away from her hometown in search of better job opportunities and better livelihood and who was badly trapped and used as a commodity has been narrated in such an emotive manner..

 

The girl takes the revenge..

In turn to the cruelties caused to her, she hits back like a cyclone and make those ones get the biggest vengeance ever.. 

This movie has raised a question before our society..

Is it a deemed convention that a girl/woman will never react to whatever she had to suffer?????

And, the movie has itself given the answer..

No!!!! It is high time that pestering to be sailed against!!!!

Let it be to a man or a woman!!!!

The time for retort has arrived!!!!
