Trivandrum Lodge..

Trivandrum Lodge is a Malayalam drama film written by Anoop Menon and directed by V. K. Prakash. It stars Jayasurya, Honey Rose and Anoop Menon in the lead roles while renowned playback singer P. Jayachandran and writer P. Balachandran play notable supporting roles in the film. The film features music composed by M. Jayachandran, whilst cinematography is handled by Pradeep Nair and is edited by Mahesh Narayanan.
Trivandrum Lodge follows the lives of the residents in a lodge and their relationships. According to the director, "it is a tale of love, lust and longing set in a lodge." With a very unconventional screenplay which unfolds through these peculiar characters, their experiences and transformations rather than sticking to the usual beginning, middle and end format.
The film released on 20 September and has received critical praise mainly for the bold plot and unconventional way of characterisation.

Trivandrum Lodge..

Which I would like to categorize as a ‘male oriented movie’..
The first half of the movie dissatisfies the family audience as well as creates an embarrassment in them..
The dialogue and sites are so unwrapped and crude as far as family viewers are concerned..
I have never come across such a movie in which the other face of human minds are reflected this red..
Though it was termed as a ‘New Generation Movie’ by the media, the plot flows through raw sub-standard situations which are too much realistic, but which remains alien to a normal spectator..
Over protrusion of human hunger for meat made the first half annoying..

The drinking and smoking new-gen women are another attribute which broadcasts that nothing is wrong or to worry about it..
Many families quit the watch in the middle and left the theatre..
It makes the fact clear that the first half failed to serve the family audience, rather was only oriented on men, may be guys..
Now, to the positives of the movie..

The extra-ordinary acting of Jayasoorya, Hani (Dhwani since this movie..), Anoop Menon, Saiju Kurup, P.Jayachandran ,Thesni Khan, Babu Namboothiri, Bhavana, Devi Ajith, Arun etc have made the silver screen glow..
The second half has some fine stuff in it..
The Single-woman man concept of Anoop Menon and the proposition that we should be innocent like children were the few releases for the family audience..
The background score, Music and Camera are another highlights of the movie..

The script is strong..
Instead of defining it as a movie, it can be better described as a "Portrait of some lives.."!!
In short, the movie with U/A Certification is a “must not watch” for family audience..
The male cluster would understand and enjoy the movie better!!!
V.K Prakash had disappointed the ones who entered the cinema halls with his beautiful movie “Beautiful” in their minds..
P.S : Please don't go for it with family.. and if you do not have much understanding on double meanings!!!
