Am I to cry or to laugh???

Am utterly confused!!!

At this moment,

Am I to cry or to laugh???

Days were preserved..

For the sake of fulfilling our commitments..

Our responsibilities..

Deferring all the words to say..

All the feelings to express..

Convincing our minds,

Rather downsizing our emotions..

Everything upon a thought,

That the wait will have an end!!!

Now, when the day has arrived,

which we thought to be,

very far apart..

Am confused,

Am I to cry or to laugh???

The reason, I’ll tell you..

Life enters into another phase..

Takes a different turn..

Though expected,

a bit had to accept!!!

The frequent face-to-faces,

will have a temporary break now..

I know,

Someone who stays in your heart

will always be with you..

And, this separation is,

 just for a few days,

Onto a lifelong togetherness!!!

But still, as I said earlier,

Am confused,

Am I to cry or to laugh???
